Making e-exams accessible

When conducting e-tests, it is not just theoretical considerations that need to be taken into account. The necessary equipment must also be provided:

• Provide software and, if necessary, hardware.
• Stable internet must be available. When working with a Safe-Exam browser, a second end device is required for monitoring by Zoom, for example.
• Staff for monitoring, technical support and content-related questions.
• Room issues: Rooms must be available and equipped on site; at home, students need the opportunity to take the exam in peace and quiet.
• Training in digital skills
